God Is Always Looking Out For You
Beloved, We are getting close to a milestone. We are closing in on our first complete calendar month dealing with the coronavirus, COVID-19. Hallelujah! Thank you God for bringing us through. It might seem odd and strange at this time to celebrate during this time; but, celebrate we must. Victories come in all shapes, forms, and sizes. And, making it safely and successfully through our first full month of COVID-19, the month of April, is reason to celebrate. The old adag

Masks and Meals - Your Support Requested
Beloved, The church has been allocated masks for those who are in need, emphasis on need. A limited number of masks have been left at the church. Please reach out to the church secretary before going by. If we need more, I will do what I can. Deacon Grace has been able to supply some as well through his community social activist group, The Twenty. If others have access, please let us know. Also, the work of the Lord is still going forth at Zion. We served 33 people toda

Leaders Lead!!!
Beloved, As I have often said, "We are all leaders in Zion Memorial." As leaders, we need to make sure that we are still finding ways to lead during the COVID-19 pandemic. During trying times, God has never left His people or forsaken His people. He has always provided leaders. As leaders of the various auxiliaries and ministries, I am asking that you pray about, think about, and then take action guided by the Holy Spirit in finding ways to stay connected and present with y

Communion On First Sunday
Church Family, We are in the midst of preparing for our second First Sunday during the COVID-19 stay at home order. For those who are able, you can pick up communion cups from the church on Wednesday thru Friday from 9am-2pm from the church secretary. If you are unable to come by the church building, please prepare an alternative celebratory communion representing the bread/wafer and w

No Condemnation In Christ
Beloved, First, my hope and prayer is that you are safe, healthy, and blessed during this time. What we could have taken for granted, we can no longer do so. So, please make sure that you are aware, not obsessed, but aware of the proper ways for you to keep yourself safe and healthy and count yourself blessed as God builds a hedge around those who follow the wisdom that He is pouring into the world at this time. As I was thinking about some of the suggestions that are basic

You Will Make It!!!
Beloved, Today is Wednesday. I have to make sure that I stay clear with that myself as the days seem to start to run together as the disruption of our normal life patterns has become our "new normal" as some would say. It is easy to look at what is going on and to almost get caught up in a wave of worry, anxiety, doubt, and depression leading to negative impacts on our health, wealth, and relationships; BUT, we do not have to live that way. Let us be honest. I want you to t

UPDATED Ways To Connect
Beloved, I was so thrilled to have so many of you connect for our Resurrection/Easter Sunday worship service as well as our 1pm conference call. I truly believe that our efforts to stay connected will make us stronger as a church family. Also, we are being blessed by being able to connect with others outside of Zion who need to hear a friendly voice and an encouraging word during this time of mandated separation. We may have to be apart due to social distancing; but, we wil
