Cynthia gave up her career in the business world to spend time raising her family. She has enjoyed volunteering at her children’s schools, serving as a room parent, organizer of room parents and library helper. She also enjoys attending her children’s sporting events and is their biggest fan.
She has enjoyed traveling the world with her husband. They have lived in Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; New York, NY; Geneva Switzerland; Durham, NC; and Peachtree City, GA. The family has resided in Winston-Salem, NC since 2007.

In her spare time, Cynthia enjoys exercising (a little known fact is that she was certified as an aerobics instructor in Georgia) and volunteering within the Winston-Salem community. She has organized the serving meals at several homeless shelters and donation of toiletry items for the residents. She is also strong supporter of Brenner’s Children's Hospital.
As a child of God, Cynthia loves serving the Lord selflessly and believes her passion for service is best captured in 1 Corinthians 15:59, “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
