God Knows More Than What You Think
Beloved, First, good morning and I do mean good morning. This is the day that the Lord has made, even with COVID-19, and we shall rejoice and be glad in it...in spite of COVID-19. How can we rejoice with people getting sick all over the world? How can we rejoice with people dying all over the world? How can we rejoice with people having to keep from getting close to each other all over the world? How can we rejoice when it seems like God is failing us all over the world?

Monday/Friday Calls
Church Family, We have had two church conference calls thus far that I believe have been successful in accomplishing two things. First, we have been able to call and connect with each other. Second, we have an encouraging word and prayer to inspire us during these challenging times. I did want to get a consensus from you in terms of the time. We had a few more call in on Friday at noon than Monday at 1pm. Please let me know, especially for those who may be working, if one

We Have To Support Our Church
Beloved, Although our normal operations as a church family have been disrupted, the work of the church goes on and our support of the work of the church needs to continue. On Sunday, our giving was down dramatically. From information that was shared, only 5 people in the congregation used the online giving option to support our church, far from what we would have expected. Hebrews 11:6 tells us, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God mus

If Every Day Was Sunday
My Beloved Zion Memorial Missionary Baptist Church Family, Life has changed! But, isn't life always changing? Right now, we are all living through incredibly interesting times. But, if you are able to receive and read this email right now, be clear, praise God! You are alive! And, because you are alive, you should rejoice in this day that the Lord has made...no matter what the day is and what the day brings. My great hope and prayer for all is that you are safe, healthy,

Be Humble
Beloved, As I type out these words to you, I do so with a bit of a burden in my heart. Being Pastor of this great, wonderful, dynamic, living, loving, and growing church family is one of the great joys of my life; but, in the process, sometimes difficulties come with the package. As I have written to you previously, difficult people can sometimes be blessings in disguise as they help to build up your faith muscles and love muscles that would not happen in any other way. Bu
