We Have To Support Our Church

Beloved,

Although our normal operations as a church family have been disrupted, the work of the church goes on and our support of the work of the church needs to continue.

On Sunday, our giving was down dramatically. From information that was shared, only 5 people in the congregation used the online giving option to support our church, far from what we would have expected.

Hebrews 11:6 tells us, "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Our obedience, based on our faith, is the key ingredient in how we should consistently approach God.

During these trying times, I am encouraging you to be faithfully obedient and continue to give so that our work as the church can go on.

Sunday morning is nowhere close to the totality of the ministry of Zion Memorial. Our budget supports a wide variety of work that we do inside and outside of the four walls of the sanctuary. Please do not let your physical inability to come separate you from the financial opportunity you have to continue to support the good that our church family does.

You have two options available to you.

The first is the online giving option.

Below is a link that will take you to the page on our website. It is secure. It is easy. You will get an email, if you provide an email, recognizing your giving. And, it will make a difference for Zion Memorial.

The First Lady and I used this option for the first time on Sunday. It took less than 5 minutes for us to give as we normally would.

If you are uncomfortable giving in this fashion, you can mail in your tithes, offerings, and donations to the church at:

Zion Memorial Missionary Baptist Church

101 North Dunleith Avenue

Winston-Salem, NC 27101

Make sure you designate the purpose of the funds.

For security reasons, checks are preferred.

As we need each other as brothers and sisters in Christ, we need each other to support the church collectively by continuing to give as we normally would if we could meet in the sanctuary.

I am not encouraging you to give above or beyond. I am encouraging you to give as you normally would.

Be prayerful and be obedient to how God, who has blessed you greatly, leads you to give in this time. We need each other and we need to support our church.

If you need any help navigating the website, the church secretary should be available between the hours of 9am-2pm on Tuesday-Friday. She can be reached at 339-725-7390.

If you cannot reach her, please do not hesitate to reach out to me for assistance at 404-226-2537. I am always here to help you.

And, remember, God loves you and I love you too!

Be blessed,

Rev. Cain
