God Keeps His Promises

Beloved, I thank God for being God. And, I thank God for you. As I reflect on my life and all that God has brought me through, I know I am living according to His grace, mercy and love. I have many stories to assure me of His presence and His faithfulness of never leaving me nor forsaking me. I am also encouraged by your stories of God fulfilling His promises. Our individual tests become our collective testimonies as we learn to trust in the Lord and share our victories. From the beginning of time, God has been a promise keeper. And, for that reason, whenever we are in trial, tribulation, strife or struggle, we can turn to Him. When storms arise, we know the one who is the storm chaser

Condolences for the Bailey Family

Beloved, As many of you have heard, Reverend Joel Bailey lost his brother, Jay Bailey, yesterday. Out of respect for the family, we have not made any official notification; but, your inquiries have made it clear the news is traveling throughout the broader Winston-Salem community and I did not want to delay any within the church family not knowing. We are lifting the family up in continued prayer and will share details regarding homegoing services as this information is made available to us. Again, please keep the family lifted up in prayer. Be blessed, Rev. Cain

Do This

My Beloved Zion Memorial Church Family, I thank God for you every day and the wonderful opportunity presented to me in being your pastor. I look forward to Wednesdays when I can share a word with you that, prayerfully, will help you between Sundays when we can gather together again. As we support and inspire our youth with days like this past Sunday to celebrate their graduations and achievements, I believe it is important to support and inspire each other. The world can be a cold, cruel place sometimes; BUT, we do not have to respond by being cold and cruel. John 17:16 reminds us that we are in this world although we are no longer supposed to be of this world as we lead others to the world

Support Our Youth!

My ZMMBC Family, This Sunday is the day that we set aside to celebrate, congratulate and encourage our youth for what they have done, are doing and, prayerfully, will do. I ask that you come out to show your love and support for all of our children, from the youngest to the oldest. They are our future and need to know that we value them greatly. You come and invite someone to come with you. Reverend Terrance Hawkins will be our guest speaker and I believe he will share an edifying, uplifting and challenging word that will open eyes, free minds, still hearts and bring revelation to our spirits. Be there to receive it. And, remember, God loves you and I love you too! Be blessed, Rev. Cain

He Is Calling You

My Beloved Zion Memorial Church Family, I am thankful that God's house was so full of His children on Sunday as we celebrated all mothers on Mother's Day - those of the past, present, and future; those of birth, instruction, support, and guidance; any and all who have dared to give of self to help someone else, their own or others. I pray that all of our mothers felt appreciated. We say that there is nothing like a mother's love. I can attest to the truth of that as my mother was my teacher, guide, advocate, and friend during our thirty-five years together on this side of glory. She was the first one to truly show me what love is. I realize that love was a way for me to begin to experien

Convicted But Not Condemned

Beloved, I am so excited on this Wednesday. We are between two blessed Sundays. This past Sunday, I had the honor and privilege of baptizing Kenya Gregory and Sophia Speaks and we, this great and growing church, Zion Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, collectively, welcomed them into the Body of Christ. And, on this upcoming Sunday, we, collectively, will celebrate our mothers on Mother's Day. Right now, on this Wednesday, we are right in the middle of seeing God's glory past and God's glory to be revealed as we anticipate a message from Anita "The Boss Lady" Dean-Arnette of The Light radio station. I hope and pray that you will come and fill God's house with family and friends to cele
