God Keeps His Promises
Beloved, I thank God for being God. And, I thank God for you. As I reflect on my life and all that God has brought me through, I know I am living according to His grace, mercy and love. I have many stories to assure me of His presence and His faithfulness of never leaving me nor forsaking me. I am also encouraged by your stories of God fulfilling His promises. Our individual tests become our collective testimonies as we learn to trust in the Lord and share our victories.

Beloved, As many of you have heard, Reverend Joel Bailey lost his brother, Jay Bailey, yesterday. Out of respect for the family, we have not made any official notification; but, your inquiries have made it clear the news is traveling throughout the broader Winston-Salem community and I did not want to delay any within the church family not knowing. We are lifting the family up in continued prayer and will share details regarding homegoing services as this information is made

Do This
My Beloved Zion Memorial Church Family, I thank God for you every day and the wonderful opportunity presented to me in being your pastor. I look forward to Wednesdays when I can share a word with you that, prayerfully, will help you between Sundays when we can gather together again. You come and invite someone to come with you. Reverend Terrance Hawkins will be our guest speaker and I believe he will share an ed

He Is Calling You
My Beloved Zion Memorial Church Family, I am thankful that God's house was so full of His children on Sunday as we celebrated all mothers on Mother's Day - those of the past, present, and future; those of birth, instruction, support, and guidance; any and all who have dared to give of self to help someone else, their own or others. I pray that all of our mothers felt appreciated. We say that there is nothing like a mother's love. I can attest to the truth of that as my moth

Convicted But Not Condemned
Beloved, I am so excited on this Wednesday. We are between two blessed Sundays. This past Sunday, I had the honor and privilege of baptizing Kenya Gregory and Sophia Speaks and we, this great and growing church, Zion Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, collectively, welcomed them into the Body of Christ. And, on this upcoming Sunday, we, collectively, will celebrate our mothers on Mother's Day. Right now, on this Wednesday, we are right in the middle of seeing God's glory
