Are you ready for your blessing?

Beloved,

I am excited about this day. It has such great hope and opportunity planted within it if... If what? If I will receive it as a gift from God and use it as a gift that is not only received but also greatly appreciated.

What do I mean?

What I mean is that every day is full of choices and decisions, opinions and perspectives, outcomes and consequences. No one can avoid this truth about life; but, the power within it is the freedom that God gives us in knowing the truth.

The truth is that nothing in your life, my life, or in the life of anyone else happens outside of the perfect or permissive will of God.

And, what we, as Christians, should all know is that God greatly desires to bless us richly. He proved it by giving us life. He proved it by offering us salvation from our sins in Jesus Christ. And, He proved it in coupling our salvation from sins with everlasting life with Him on the other side of glory.

These are great truths that should give us more freedom as we approach each day.

But, do you have freedom in your day? Are you walking in God's truth? Have you received God's blessings?

Are you ready for your blessing?

Beloved, Luke 12:32 reveals that God wants to give you the greatest blessing that you can have on this side of glory, the assurance that you will be a part of His eternal kingdom. The scripture reads, "Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom."

That scripture comes right after Luke 12:31 which tells us, "Instead, strive for his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well."

Beloved, too often, we are missing our blessing, knowing assuredly that we are a part of the greatest kingdom that has ever existed or will ever exist, the eternal kingdom of God. Instead, we are constantly stressing about how to make this world better, our world better, our children's, family's and friend's worlds better and miss the blessing of knowing that we, as children of God, already have the best world there will ever be. It just has not come yet.

God knows about everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING, that you need. It is not a secret to God that is revealed when you fall down on your knees in prayer, have tears welling up in your eyes, and cry out to God in sometimes silent cries because you do not want everyone to know that you really do not have it all together. God knows all of that and has already provided the best for you. He has given you a place in His kingdom.

If you will live with a kingdom mindset, your problems will not go away; but, your perspective will change. God is for you and nothing can stand against you...nothing that really matters. God will never leave you and you will never stand alone...if you remember the Holy Spirit dwells inside of you. God will never forsake you and others might turn their backs on you...as God reveals who He has truly placed in your corner.

You see, God is ready to bless you with the truth that you are His son or His daughter and Jesus has prepared a place for you in the kingdom of God.

Your real challenge is to stop seeing this world as it is not, your final destination, and begin to see heaven and the kingdom of God as it is, your eternal home.

You are homeward bound and life is just the intervening stage until you get there.

Are you ready for your blessing? Start acting like who you are a kingdom-bound son or daughter of God.

Beloved, keep connecting with us, your brothers and sisters in Christ. Let us not be strangers on this side of glory. Let us begin and continue our blessed relationship and fellowship by any means necessary. No excuse. No explanation. Connect.

Noonday prayer. Connect.

HOPE Wednesday. Connect.

Worship service. Connect.

Church conference call. Connect.

Why? We are seeking the kingdom of God, the promised kingdom of God, the blessed kingdom of God, together.

And, remember, God loves you and I love you too!

Be blessed,

Rev. Cain
