Maundy Thursday Virtual Services

Beloved,

As we had our Palm Sunday services this past Sunday, we are still in the midst of Holy Week for the Christian Church.

Maundy Thursday was one of the most impactful and meaningful days of Holy Week. It was on this day that Jesus and His disciples participated in the Last Supper. It was also the day that Jesus prayed to God in the Garden of Gethsemane. On the same evening, Jesus was betrayed by Judas, was arrested, taken to Caiphas the high priest on false charges, and was denied by Peter.

This day was truly the transition from the day of celebration on Palm Sunday to the day of preparation for the crucifixion on Good Friday.

I have been invited to participate in a virtual Maundy Thursday service by Pastor Paul Ford of First Baptist Church on Highland as well as others such as Love Out Loud and the School Of Love.

The service will be from 7:30pm-8:30pm. If possible, I would appreciate your support and virtual attendance. At a minimum, I ask for your prayers in my participation.

I have attached the proposed order of worship.
