God Will Do Amazing Things...With And Through You!

Beloved,

It Is HOPE Wednesday and I am praying that you are feeling the power and encouragement of the Lord in your life. If not, come out tonight for your hour of power and encouragement. And, if you are feeling it, come out tonight to help others who may not be at the point of peace and joy that is a part of your life right now.

My brothers and sisters in Christ, I am prayerful that we will never grow complacent with what God is doing. Amazing is a word that can describe it; but, the impact of the word can be fleeting if we never step back and take inventory of all that God has done in this world. And, it becomes even more real when we look at what God has done in our own individual lives.

And, the most incredible thing that God has done in your life is saving you and equipping you to participate in the process of helping others to get saved and live saved.

While we should always pray as scripture instructs us (see Luke 18:1), I am more prayerful about what happens when we get off our knees and are led by the Holy Spirit to put prayer into action.

In essence, even as a child of God in prayer, we do not need to talk about it. We need to be about it.

Why? Because as God has worked through faithful men and women throughout history, history is being created and His story is being revealed through all of His believers.

Therefore, God is doing amazing things...with and through you!

What are the amazing things that God is doing?

Ezekiel 34:16 says, "I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed, and I will bind up the injured, and I will strengthen the weak."

Does that not sound awesome? Is that not something to give God praise for? Are you seeing God do it? Do you know how God does it?

God does it with and through you.

God is the omni God. God is omnipresent (everywhere), omniscient (knows everything), and omnipotent (all-powerful). But, God reveals His presence, knowledge, and power through His adopted, under the blood of Jesus, Holy Spirit led sons and daughters, us.

So, while the prophet Ezekiel shared what God said, he also shared what God expected for us to do so that the world would know how amazing God truly is.

When you share the gospel with someone who needs to hear it, God is amazingly working with and through you.

When you encourage those who have been out of fellowship with us to come back without fear, shame, worry, anxiety or doubt, God is amazingly working with and through you.

When you lift up those who have fallen down by their own actions or by the unpredictable ways of the world, God is amazingly working with and through you.

When you help those who are not consistent and strong in their faith walk, God is amazingly working with and through you.

God is amazing and the world will know that God is amazing...if you let God amazingly work with and through you.

Beloved, make yourself available to God so that others can learn and know what you already know, that God is amazing.

Come out tonight and let us journey together, learn together, and grow together so that we can let the world know that God will do amazing things with and through all of us who allow Him to work with and through us.

God loves you and I love you too.

See you tonight!

Be blessed,

Rev. Cain
