Weekly Church Announcements 

Please turn in your announcements to the Church Secretary, Mrs. Jillian Benson, by Wednesday of each week in writing. Church office hours are 9-2pm Tuesday-Friday. Please note, church members are not permitted in the Secretary’s office during the hours she is not in attendance.  If copies or other documents are needed, please see the Secretary during her working hours: Tues-Fri, 9:00 am -2:00 pm.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Prayer List 

Weekly

The purpose of this list is to give members the opportunity to pray in agreement, stand in the gap, and battle spiritually with every sister & brother of this church.  If you have a prayer request that you would like added to the prayer list, please turn them in to the church secretary, Jillian Benson. You may email your requests to Zionmemorialbapt@outlook.com or call them in to 336-725-7390. You may also place written requests in the prayer box in the vestibule.

 

  • Prayer for Keyasia to soon have a smooth transition to a therapeutic home in Winston-Salem & Prayer for the Spears family as they complete the requirements to become a therapeutic home.

  • Prayers for God’s favor, grace and prosperity for The Benson Family

  • Prayer for Sister Doris Adams son, Timothy Douthit, is improving. Continued prayer for complete healing.

  • Prayer for wisdom & compassion for the doctors and strength for the mother of Deacon Grace, Mrs. Willie Mae Grace.

  • Elvin Colemans continued recovery as he goes through physical therapy

  •  Kerry Smith continued healing

  • Leneka Mason as she goes through nerve damage in legs & works

  •  Lakia Mason as she remains cancer free but facing other health concerns

  • Kimberly Rodriguez as she moves to Winston & gets into a church

  • Sandra Board break chains and freedom from strongholds

  • Prayer for sister Edna Robinson for strength in her health and her son-in-law as he rehabs

Because of COVID-19, ZMMB Church was not able to celebrate Rev. Cain's third anniversary in April. 

 

Zion Memorial will celebrate Rev. Cain's third anniversary, Sunday, September 20th, 2020.  There will be a short informal ceremony before the 11:00 AM Service, the Chairman of the Deacon Board will preside and present Rev. Cain with a monetary gift token on behalf of the church family.  The church will also honor Mrs. Cain with a gift chosen by one of the church auxiliaries. 

 

Members and Auxiliaries wishing to show their appreciation and love may do so by sending a card through the mail or bring them to the Sunday Service.  A basket is being provided by the Pastors Aid Ministry for gifts or cards that will also be presented by the Deacons.  Time will not permit any personal or verbal appreciation.

Safety & Security Team

Sundays & events

​

The ZMMBC Safety/Security Team is now on duty every Sunday during morning worship service. Team members can be seen wearing yellow vests and monitoring the entry doors, parking lots and areas throughout the church during the worship service. If you have any concerns dealing with safety/security including medical concerns, please notify one of the team members wearing a yellow vest. Safety Tip: Always lock your car before leaving the parking lot and never leave valuables in plain sight.

Zion Memorial thank you for making our Food Pantry successful. Please continue to contribute items for the pantry. If you have a birthday in the month of August, please consider giving your birthday money or items based on your age.
