He Is Coming...Again

Beloved,

First, I want to thank all of you who came for church conference. It was a lengthy meeting but a necessary one. We are moving in the right direction and that is because of God’s guidance and provision coupled with your obedience.

Do remember that we agreed to meet at 6pm this evening to review the minutes prior to Bible Study at 6:30pm.

We have been busy doing a great deal and sometimes we need to step back, reflect, and remember why.

God has given us all a limited amount of time, talent and treasure. Each is valuable because of the short time we have with each.

So, in making decisions regarding how, what and why we will use our time, talent and treasure as well as on who, when and where we will use our time, talent and treasure, we must be careful and mindful.

Focus and perseverance is key to success.

And, as Christians, we know that only what we do for God will truly matter and last.

So, do we know why we do what we do?

Revelation 1:7 tells us,

“Look! He is coming with the clouds; every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail. So it is to be. Amen.”

We do what we do because He is coming back.

We celebrate Christmas because it fulfills the promise of Jesus coming as prophesied.

During this season, we should also celebrate the promise that He is coming back.

The next time, He is not coming to offer salvation. That has been done.

He is coming back to accept and receive those who have chosen to accept and receive His salvation.

May it burden our hearts for those who have not and may we pray for God to give us the ways and opportunities to continue witnessing to the lost and encouraging the saved.

This is the mission of the church.

Let us be mission-minded people because He is coming...again.

Tonight is the last Bible Study we will have until the new year. I encourage you to come out and be with the body.

I look forward to seeing you this evening.

Remember, 6:00pm start to cover minutes and then 6:30pm start for Bible Study. If we cover the minutes in a timely fashion, we may start Bible Study early and finish early depending on attendance.

Do come and invite someone to come with you.

Be blessed,

Rev. Cain
